The game’s roster comprises many WB franchises, which leads to the craziest crossovers. For example, you can fight The Batman with Garnet from Steven Universe in this game.

To top it off, you do not have to spend anything to enjoy the experience as MultiVersus is free-to-play! Furthermore, the game is also available on a wide variety of platforms.

Due to this, gamers are already wondering if MultiVersus supports Cross-Play & Cross-Progression.

MultiVersus: Cross-Play & Cross-Progression Support Explained

MultiVersus has officially confirmed the support Cross-Play and Cross-Progression across all platforms.

Cross-Play support applies to the ongoing Closed Alpha, theupcoming Closed Beta, and the final game at launch.

However, the Closed Alpha does not officially support Cross-Progression, as there is no mention of the feature in the official FAQ.

This feature could be reserved for the launch version. Additionally, the developer could include it in the Open Beta upon later confirmation.

How to Play With Friends on Other Platforms Using Cross-Play

Most gamers want to experience this title with friends. The hype is so monumental that some gamers are selling and buying Closed Alpha Multiversus codes on eBay!

To play with friends on other platforms, follow these instructions :

• If you want to play with friends on other platforms, you will need to add them as WB Friends
• You can find your WB account display name by logging in to the WB Account Management site under the Account Information Tab
• Once you have this information, you can add WB friends directly from the game by accessing the Social menu on the top right corner (Triangle on PlayStation or Y if using an Xbox Controller)
• On the Social menu, go to the Search “Enter a player name” bar* and type in the WB account name; once it loads, select the user and send a friend invite
• Once your friend has accepted the request, you can now proceed to send them a game invite to play together by selecting them in your Online WB Friends list

*NOTE: For some reason, the Search bar is not populating any results on some platforms. If this is the case with you, follow these instructions:

• You can directly add WB friends from the WB Account Management site, enter the site and log into your account
• Proceed to click or tap on the “WB Friends” tab on the menu of the site
• Enter the display name of the friend you want to add in the “Search for a WB friend” bar and click on the Search button
• Once the information of your friend loads, click or tap on Add Friend

How to Use Cross-Progression Support in MultiVersus

At this moment, the Closed Alpha of MultiVersus does not offer Cross-Progression, and there are no official instructions on how to use this feature.

However, most cross-progression games simply require you to log in to your account. Once you log in, the game automatically syncs your progress with the server and loads all your content.

This seems to be the approach the developer could take with MultiVersus’ Cross-Progression. In the Closed Alpha, the game prompts you to log in to your WB account the first time you access it.

As soon as you enter your credentials, the game automatically syncs with the servers. Once this process starts, a message on the bottom right corner states: “Syncing Account State.”

This could indicate no further actions are required to enjoy the Cross-Progression feature in MultiVersus.

Keep in mind this is still speculation based on the Closed Alpha, and things could change on the final release. As soon as there is an official update, we will update this article.
